So we got a win, and we got a loss...
Nov. 5th, 2008 08:50 pmand it was the opposite of what I was expecting. Not that I'm glad about losing my rights to be joined in a union that has a 50% chance of turning sour (much like heterosexual unions, actually) or that our soon-to-be president has a religious bias overcoming the wants and needs of the many, but at least it's a start. I just hope the other side is willing to reach out a hand to compromise on things, considering how graciously McCain resigned.
But all in all it depresses me, and since I can't shake the feeling anyway, might as well be nostalgic over something that doesn't matter. Man I miss a ren faire that doesn't suck.
