Fun with laptops

On the 22nd I managed to get me a referb laptop. This wasn’t as much of a crapshoot as I thought, but it did lack a cd-rom drive/battery/wireless… which in short makes it pretty much useless. So I’m going to return the little guy as soon as possible and get mah money back, as I finally convinced mom that broadband is cheaper and I’d spend less time tying up the phone lines. I still plan on getting a laptop one day, but with DSL it won’t be one of those fire-in-the-gut needs like it has been.

Plus the costs of everything before rebate? 185 or so. Less if the ‘disconnect fee’ from AOL is only 100 instead of 120 like I’ve heard.

This means one thing, World of Warcraft! Pets and run-by slashing here I come!

Edit: also never put California dressing on salmon; and if your mother ever does, don’t tell her not to.
