I know the following about Ran Online:
May. 1st, 2006 01:58 am1)It seems to be set in modern Japan, as you seem to play a high-school punk. I know this because the screenshots that are loading show the following things; girls and boys in Japanese high school outfits, and them holding swords.
2)The game is free.
3)No really; wtf swords. I mean I understand lead pipes or killer yo-yos or anything like that, but yeaaah, European swords.
Can anyone enlighten me on what the hell this game is about? ‘Cause if the goal of this mmorpg is to play a sword-wielding high school dropout punkass, I am so there.
Edit: some more of the images loaded on my unusually slow connection; they indeed do also have pipes, and large sticks of beating, and the page has an anime blood splatter on it. Plus one of the tabs it ‘student services’
Okay, I need broadband now, just to see what the hell this is. Also there is endless love from me to whoever thought it would be an great idea to play a shounentard online.

so in short, yes you play a shounen retard. Oh and also the game is korean-based, which is still awesome.
